Balance Progressions

  • Standing two feet- eyes closed (EC)
  • Standing still on one leg eyes open (E0)
  • One leg triplanar balance (EO)
  • Standing still on one leg eyes closed (EC)
  • One leg triplanar balance (EC)
  • If you cannot pass these for greater than 15 seconds there is no reason to go on to unstable surface training (wobble boards, balance discs, boce balls, etc) This type of unstable training is not applicable to real world activities and runs a much higher risk of injury.
